Gather Course Required Materials

You are going to need things like a holster/sling, magazines, ammo

No. You do not need whatever high-speed, low drag gear you saw someone on YouTube using to come to the class. Bring what you have. Learn what you need. Buy the latest transfer device when you get home.

Mandatory Items

appropriate weapons
ammunition, appropriate to the specific class
minimum of three spare magazines per weapon
a sturdy gun belt
your carry holster
spare magazine pouches
eye & hearing protection is MANDATORY (electronic headphones, ear plugs, or both)
flashlight for any low-light portion of the class
batteries
shooting mat or an old blanket for when we are on the ground
gun cleaning gear
slings for shoulder fired weapons

Other Items That You May Wish To Have

It is recommended that you wear a hat with bill or brim as it helps keep ejected brass from getting lodged behind your glasses.
cooler with drinks (lots of water)
food for lunch - you can run to a local food joint, but you'll have more fun swapping stories if you bring food
camera
snack food
sunscreen
bug spray
pants or shorts depending on weather
comfortable shoes
foul weather gear
jacket for cooler days and nights
